Microsoft Live Labs have released a surprise application in the Apple App store showing off the Seadragon (Deep Zoom) features that we know and love from Silverlight 2. Now I don't have much details on it (Maybe you can enlighten us?) but I don't think this is running through Silverlight. But we can wish!

Its very quick to locate and install and I was doing it over the 3G network. Search App store for Seadragon Mobile or click here. Let it install an then play around my favorite so far is the Aerial Map which also requests access to use you 'current location'. Even using the app in a non wifi hotspot and just relying on the 3G didn't really spoil the experiance which was great.
